Time out on train fares rise

SAYLSA, the community rail partnership for Carrick, has intervened to try to safeguard fares for passengers who use the Strathclyde Concessionary Travel Scheme.

Plans were approved by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport’s Concessionary Travel Scheme Joint Committee on Friday, January 27.

Time constraints would be imposed on SPT concessionary fare passengers who use any train between certain times.
