Woman broke man’s nose

A STRANRAER woman who kicked her partner in the face and broke his nose has been given a 56-day prison sentence.

Sara MacDonald, 19, of Hanover Street, admitted assaulting James McConnachie on March 1 after she went to his house looking for more money during a night out. MacDonald picked up his money and told him she was going back out. He took hold of her hand to take the money from her and she dropped it. As he bent down to pick it up, she kicked him.

She was also placed on a 7pm-7am curfew for 130 days.
