Messed Up Times are looking ahead to a rockin’ night in Girvan this Saturday when they play the Hamilton Arms.

The band, formerly known as The Unknown, are well known on the Glasgow scene having played King Tut’s Wah-Wah Hut and Pivo Pivo.

Girvan drummer Martyn McGregor recently joined the group who will play at the Hamilton Arms in Girvan this Saturday (March 12) and with a good turnout on the night, it is hoped to make the rock nights a regular feature at the venue.

Messed Up Times are about to release their debut single as an online download and are currently finishing off their debut CD due for release this summer.

Lead singer Paul Brogan said: “We’re really excited about what’s happening right now.

“Martyn is a great young drummer and a great addition to the band.

“We’re really looking forward to playing in Girvan, it should be a great night and it’s free so get along on the night.”

Local DJ Ian Coulter will also be there playing a selection of well known rock favourites.
