A local support group is offering a range of help to people in Ayrshire who have been affected by suicide.
‘Touched by suicide’ Scotland is a self-help organisation set up to meet the needs and break the isolation of people bereaved by the suicide of a close relative or friend. The group offers both emotional and practical support in a number of ways, including: Confidential telephone helpline, Support information, Help by email, Group meetings, Network meetings and information on practical issues and problems.
The group aim to provide a safe, confidential setting where people can share their experiences and feelings, and supporting each other as a result.
The meetings for people from South Ayrshire take place on the first Tuesday of every month from 6.45pm to 8.45pm in the new venue of the John Pollock Centre, Mainholm Road, Ayr.
