Post Office proposals could potentially see Maybole Post office open seven days a week and also move from its current location.

The Post Office would be moved from its current site at 3 High Street into Spar Stores at 92 High Street.

And they also wish to open the branch on a Sunday from 8am to 10am and on a Monday to Saturday from 6am until 10pm.

The new Maybole Road Post Office would have three serving positions. One would be screened, one open-plan and the other would be an open-plan serving point at the retail counter where many Post Office services would be available throughout opening hours. The same wide range of Post Office services will remain on offer.

Suzanne Richardson, Regional Manager, said: “We understand how important having a Post Office is to residents in Maybole and we are confident that this new modern Post Office service will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future.
