Public meeting to be held to discuss dyslexia

Dyslexia Ayrshire are holding a public meeting on Saturday 9 November to discuss “How Dyslexia Affects Me.”

The meeting will take place at 10am in Ayr Hospital’s Education Suite and will be hosted by young people who will describe what it’s like to live with dyslexia.

It is hoped that their stories will make people thing again about dyslexia and why it needs to be properly understood and taken more seriously.

They also hope young people attend with their families as they wish to speak to adults, especially those who know there is “something” holding them back to answer questions.

There is a very small charge to cover expenses. Further information and an application form can be downloaded from www.dyslexia-ayrshire.co.uk or by phoning 01292 443648/590789.
