Girvan poet Gerald Morgan is now available to read on Amazon.
That’s because he has published a collection of 24 poems entitled Stray Threads Poetry which is now available to download as an e-book on the global site.
Gerald stresses that the poems have no particular theme to them.
He describes his work as long, short, happy, sad, serious and funny all rolled into one and says “My poems can be about four lines and some can be about 50 lines.”
The title of the book is derived from an 1895 work by Girvan writer Robert Cadden called Stray Threads From the Loom.
Although there is a mix to Gerald’s work, two of his poems are a tribute to Girvan in the form of Farewell to Girvan and Alexander Tudhope- a soldier from the town who lost his life in World War Two.
lStray Threads Poetry is now available to download for e-readers via Amazon.Co.Uk and Smashwords.com.
