Pupils of Sacred Heart Primary School in Girvan held a Burns Supper last week with the youngsters giving some superb poetry recitations and dancing displays.

The haggis was carried in by Caitlin Calver and Xander gave Dennis Reid a helping hand to address the haggis.

The P3 recitation winner was Keeley Fairclough who recited A Dug, A Dug, by Bill Keys.

Kaelen from P6 gave a Highland Dancing display and P1 pupil Ailah also showed her dancing skills.

The P4 recitation winner was Dakota McGarrie, P5 winner was Lewis McLellan and P7 winner was Niamh Rae. P6 Burns-inspired artwork winner was Alexander McCrorie
