The outstanding taste of William Grant & Sons products has secured Distiller of the Year award at the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) held at London’s Guildhall on November 2013.
The award was sponsored by global beverage logistics provider, JF Hillebrand, which is a preferred logistics supplier to the Scottish whisky industry.
JF Hillebrand Scotland is well established with the drinks industry and in 2013 will ship approximately 25,000 containers of spirits to markets including the USA, France and Russia, understands the exacting requirements of shipping drinks to customers across the globe.

This is the sixth time that William Grant & Sons have been awarded the top honour of Distiller of the Year.
The company was praised by the judging panel for “striving to progress by increasing investments and seeking new markets in order to stay at the top” and “sticking to its roots whilst refusing to be constrained by them”.

Now in its 44th year, the IWSC is the longest running and most respected competition in the industry. Judges operate at the top level within the wine industry and include Masters of Wine, drinks writers, educators, distillers, wine makers and buyers.
