South Carrick Community Leisure will hold their AGM on Wednesday July 31.
Starting at 7pm in the Carrick Buildings, it is the charity’s second AGM and ahead of the meeting, they can now boast over 1,200 members.
Those in attendance are expected to discuss the developments over the past year and look ahead to how they will improve quality of life, support and promote citizenship, promote civic pride and encourage participation in sport and leisure activities in the local area.
The annual accounts will also be presented and charity board members will be re-elected.
SCCL vice chair Ken Johnstone said: “The AGM is a great opportunity for members to come along and hear what has happened in the last 12 months and learn about where we are in the process of giving our community this much needed facility.
“Members may also want to consider standing for election as a trustee.”
All SCCL members are welcome to attend.
