TEN Carrick Gazette readers will be heading off to Glasgow next month to embrace the handmade trend at the Creative Stitches & Hobbycrafts fair.

The lucky 10 will enjoy crafts including knitting, jewellery-making, papercraft, cardmaking, sewing and quilting, with a free programme of talks and workshops each day.

Advanced tickets for the fair (March 7-10) need to be ordered by 5pm Monday March 4, after which on the door prices apply (adult £8.50/senior £7.50/ children free if accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket, otherwise £3).
