Two in court over Cairnryan Christmas death

A MAN and woman are to appear in court in connection with the death of a Cairnryan man on Christmas Day.

Christina Mary Dane Slooves or Biggar, 55, from Cairnryan, will make her second appearance before Stranraer Sheriff Court today.

She appeared before the court on December 27 charged with murder and attempting to pervert the course of justice after the death of 65-year old George Potts in Cairnryan on Christmas Day. She made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.

James Potts, 62, from Ballantrae also appeared on the same date charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice. He made no plea or declaration and was also remanded in custody to appear again today.
