Water works will mean a road closure in Dalrymple at the end of this month.
Work to improve water mains and the security of supply in the area mean a section of Seath Drive, from its junction with Burnton Road (B742) to its junction with the B7034, will be closed for five days from August 31 during our work in the area.
Local diversions will be in operation.
The project, which involves work on about one mile of water mains in the area, will start on August 17 and is expected to be completed in about seven weeks. It will be carried out for Scottish Water by our alliance partners, Caledonia Water Alliance.
Scottish Water has liaised with Ayrshire Roads Alliance, which delivers roads and transportation services in East and South Ayrshire, when planning this work and the road traffic management.
Scottish Water says it We will do everything possible to minimise any inconvenience to road users in the area and thank them in advance for their patience.
