Wilma Gracie, from Barr, recently made a very kind donation to the pupils of Invergarven School.

Wilma celebrated a big birthday recently, and decided to donate all presents to a raffle, raising £370 which she has donated to the school.

Wilma was invited to a school assembly as a special guest, where she presented the cheque to the pupils. In return the pupils presented Wilma with a birthday card and flowers to show their appreciation.

Kimberley Keenan, depute Head Teacher, said: “Wilma has been involved with the school for a number of years, and we really appreciate this very kind donation.

“This will be used to enhance the pupils’ learning with outings to support the curriculum, throughout the year. We would like to thank Wilma for her support.”
