One of Ayrshire’s leading business groups has welcomed the Provosts of East, North and South Ayrshire as Honorary Members, as it prepares to mark 20 years of supporting business women.
The Ayrshire Association of Business Women invited Councillor Helen Moonie (Provost of South Ayrshire), Councillor Joan Sturgeon (Provost of North Ayrshire) and Councillor Jim Todd (Provost of East Ayrshire) to join its membership, signifying the important role each local authority plays in supporting business women throughout Ayrshire.
South Ayrshire Provost Helen Moonie, said: “I’m honoured to become a member of Ayrshire Association of Business Women. The Association offers great networking and development opportunities that benefit business women of all levels of knowledge and expertise and I’m very pleased a junior membership is now available, providing pathways for the business women of the future. I would encourage any woman working or interested in business to get involved.”
