Ladies' dinner for curlers

GIRVAN Ladies Curling Club held their AGM and dinner earlier this month in the Southfield Hotel, Girvan.

This year marked the 40th year of the club and, after a successful and enjoyable season, the prize-winners were as follows:
Thomson Salver - Christine Robertson (skip), Isabel McGarvie, Erika Mitchell, Linda Challis.
Curragh Trophy - Fiona Smith (skip), Christine Robertson, Yvonne Sheehan, Norma Swiatek.
Ailsa Trophy - Marion Brown (skip), Lynda Gordon, Betty Shields, Catherine McCrindle. Graham Dines - Helen Brown (skip), Colin Bone, Helen McDowall, Alan Ross.
Pairs - Catharine McCrindle and Lynne Brooks.
Points - Dorothy Bulloch.
The club would like to thank all staff of the Southfield Hotel for a lovely evening and a delightful meal.
The next curling season begins in October.
