Late strike seals cup final place
MAYBOLE reached the final of the South Ayrshire Cup thanks to a stoppage time rocket from Paul Templeton against a plucky Whitletts side.

The Ayrshire District League side will have felt hard done by at the end of the game and probably should have won the tie themselves.
The pace of Elliot Duffy gave Maybole something to think about throughout the game and there were times when Peter Leonard's men didn't know how to handle him.
It was Duffy who had the best effort of the first half when his 25 yard half volley forced Martin McCauley into action to tip the shot over the bar.
Maybole were without Paul Kerr for the tie and his experience and guile was missed in attack during the first half in which they created very little.
To many times in the first half Maybole reverted to launching high balls up the park instead of getting the ball down and playing their usual passing game.
Their first goal scoring opportunity of the match came four minutes into the second half when Andy Stevenson fired inches past the post after a nice quick move with Martin Reilly.
It brought Maybole to life and they looked a different side from the first half.
Allan Love was next to try his luck and his effort from 25 yards brought out a fine save from Darren Wilson as it looked to be sailing into the top corner.
On the hour mark, Robert Love thought he had put his side in front but his shot was cleared off the line by Steven Lynch.
Whitletts continued to look dangerous throughout the game and tried to chase for the winner.
Duffy and David Cunningham both had chances to put their side ahead but their finishing let them down in the closing stages.
Templeton started the game on the bench and was brought on for Barry Scott with 15 minutes remaining along with Andy Boyle and Alex Walker as Leonard looked to grab the winner.
The changes made a difference to the game as the pace and trickery of Walker and Boyle on the flanks began to pin Vics' back and the home side looked the more likely to force home a winner.
And it finally came with moments remaining.
A quick short corner from Boyle found Templeton outside the area and he then darted past one defender before firing an unstoppable effort at goal.
The shot flew past Wilson and smacked off the cross bar and just over the line.
The goal sent Maybole into the final where they will face either Girvan/ Annbank/Troon at a neutral venue.
