The Ayr Burners Summer Series continues this Thursday night with the members gearing up for the Troon Treasure Hunt. Starting at Troon Railway Station at 7pm, two person teams will embark on a cycle orienteering challenge. Each team will have 60 minutes to collect points by navigating around the Troon / Barassie / Prestwick area while collecting clues.

Each clue location will be accessible by quiet roads and off-road paths, with bonus points being awarded for some clues that have more adventurous domains.

On Saturday morning ‘The Burners’ return to Rozelle for the Fourth edition of their popular youth and family friendly Cyclo-Cross skills sessions. Using a short 1.5 Kilometre course, riders can develop and enhance their riding skills whilst having fun at the same time. A Mountain bike or Hybrid bike with grippy tyres is more than suitable for these sessions. Any riders under 13 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
