A big off road excursion for Ayr Burners Cycling QTS saw ten riders head to Barrhill for a day on the tracks less travelled. The Burners welcomed along members from Carrick CC, Coylton CC, and Ayr Roads CC for the journey which would start with a new section of windfarm forest road high above Barrhill before meandering past Loch Lahinie and Loch Maberry on route to Clachaneasy with 70 miles clocked up upon return to Ayr.

Sunday morning saw The Burners enjoy a picnic in BelleIsle park with a range of planned activities for both parents and kids to enjoy. A free bike maintenance stall courtesy of the nationwide ‘Big Bike Revival’ scheme was also in attendance giving new life to bicycles in need of some tlc.
