PORTPATRICK Dunskey Golf Club is inviting prospective members for coffee and a light snack on Saturday to find out more about the club.
Visitors can view the facilities and enjoy a coaching clinic and fun competitions with the professional, and, if they wish, can play the course for the reduced price of £10, which is refundable upon joining.
The course is situated on the clifftop overlooking the Irish Sea with views to Isle of Man, Ireland and the Mull of Kintyre. The 18-hole Dunskey course provides an enjoyable test for golfers of all abilities. And the nine-hole Dinvin is a superb course for learning the game, whether as a junior or adult, or for the accomplished golfer honing their short game skills.
The practice area includes a 300-yard range with pitching greens and a large putting green.
Lessons are also available from resident PGA professional James Erskine.
Club captain Alan Lightbody sees the benefits of joining Portpatrick as the warm welcoming atmosphere in the clubhouse, with the excellent bar and catering facilities, coupled with a large changing room and locker facilities.
Not forgetting two superb golf courses, naturally.
