Dailly twins named in Scotland squad

Dailly twins Robby and Ross McCrorie have once again been selected by Scotland U17 manager Scot Gemmill for their latest match which is a friendly against their Romanian counterparts on Tuesday February 24.

The duo who are currently with Rangers will hope to feature in the match which takes place at Ayr United’s Somerset Park with kick off at 7pm.

Robby has cemented himself as Gemmill’s number one goalkeeper whilst Ross has also been a regular in the U17 team at right back.

The pair were both in the side which won the Victory Shield against the English U16 team in 2013 and Robby played a key role in helping the Scotland U17s to the semi finals of their age group’s championships in May last year.

Robby has also been on the bench for the Rangers first team this season when then boss Ally McCoist named him in the squad
for a Scottish Cup match against Dumbarton in November.

Twin brother Ross has been a regular in the U20 Rangers side as well this season and both will be hoping to be knocking on the door of the first team soon.

If you want to see Robby and Ross in action, tickets for the game at Somerset Park are priced at £5 for adults, £2 concessions and Under 16s go free.
