Fierce rivals face off

In a very exciting night in the semi-finals of the John Stewart Cup the Victory travelled to the Athletic Tavern to face off with their fierce rivals.

After leading 2-0 the B team took control to lead 4-3 after the singles, but in the doubles the mighty Vic fought back to level the tie 4-4, and saw out the remaining two games to move into the final.

In the other semi-final the Vaults kept up their fine form by booking a slot in final with an easy 9-1 win against the Kings.

In the Head-Kandi preliminary, the hammy beat the Royal 7-3 to move into the semis.
