GIRVAN will have a full squad to choose from when they take on Penicuik Athletic in a rearranged Emirates Scottish Junior Cup second round tie at Hamilton Park on Saturday.
The match was due to be played on Saturday, October 20 but was called off early on Saturday morning following a pitch inspection.
Club chairman Tam McCreadie said: “We’re having a bit of bother with the 18 yard box at the bottom end of the pitch. There’s a lot of water collecting there. We did some work on it on Saturday and again on Monday.
“We had to give Penicuik plenty of warning that the game was off so the pitch inspection was at 8am. But we all know what the weather was like here last week.”
The game on Saturday will kick off at 2.30pm with Girvan hoping to secure a third round place in this home tie and go on another cup run.
