In week four of the William Grants and Sons Girvan league Athletic A stay top with another comfortable win against Kings of Barr.
In the tie of the night fierce rivals Victory Bar and Athletic B faced off in the Victory.
After a tense committee meeting pre-game the stage was set for a dramatic night of drama.
The mighty Vic raced into an early 3-0 lead. With the B team struggling they fought back hard to level the tie 3-3 before Vic led 4-3 going into the doubles. Then from staring at defeat the B team somehow took the lead 5-4 and ended up disappointed in drawing 5-5. In the end a draw was a very fair result.
In the performance of the night the Hammy player Steven McCluskey hit an amazing 11-dart league to help the Hammy beat Royal 8-2, fresh from playing in the Glasgow open at the weekend where Steven reached the last 8 of the competition.
The Boarshead got a great result travelling to the Vaults to win 6-4
