Girvan entertain league leaders

Girvan will hope their
top of the table clash with Irvine Vics goes ahead this Saturday
after weeks of
frustration due to
match cancellations.

The Girvan side have not played since January 23 when they notched up a 5-1 win against Ardeer Thistle.

That result showed the good form the side are in but they have not had the chance to capitalise on that and get points on the board.

This Saturday will
give them a chance, weather permitting of course, to get back to winning ways when
the league leaders
come calling at Hamilton Park.

Girvan are currently second in the league
with 22 points while
Vics are on top with 34 points.

However Girvan
do have a massive five games in hand and a
win on Saturday
would see them on course to challenge for top
spot.

The game last
Saturday against Kello Rovers was cancelled after an early pitch inspection.

The game this
Saturday kicks off
at 2pm.
