Girvan FC’s Scottish Junior Cup replay match with Rutherglen was postponed on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch.
It means that the tie has been postponed a remarkable SIX times in the last seven weeks.
The teams drew 2-2 on Saturday 22 February in a tie which was moved to Largs Thistle’s 3G pitch following four postponements at Girvan’s Hamilton Park and a further call off at Ardrossan.
However, the Rutherglen failed a pitch inspection on Saturday morning meaning the sides will have to try again this Saturday to complete the game which was first scheduled to be played on the 18th January.
A home tie against cup favourite Bo’Ness United await the winners in round five with the winners of the tie going onto play Irvine Meadow who are lying in wait in the quarter finals.
