Girvan Muay Thai Boxing have a Scottish Champion in their team.

That’s because Kieran O’Sullivan won the gold medal in the 15-16 years category at the Scottish Championships in Glasgow last month.

Kieran stopped his opponent inside 30 seconds of the first round to seal an impressive triumph. And the success didn’t stop there for the Girvan club. Owen Sweeney collected a silver medal whilst Kieran Voce also picked up a bronze medal. Instructor Brooke Roberts is extremely proud of her team and encourages new starts and beginners to come along. Classes are in the South Parish Church hall in Girvan on Wednesday nights (5-6pm) for kids and 7-8pm for adults. All kids aged five years or older are welcome and all they need to bring is a t-shirt and shorts. The club will provide the rest of the equipment.

Classes cover self defence and all aspects of Muay Thai Boxing.
