Cup win is consolation for the Vaults
The victorious Vaults team.
Last week was the final of the Head Kandi consolation cup held in the Athletic tavern, between the vaults and royal hotel.
The Vaults ran out comfortable winners 7-3 handing Martin Foote his first piece of silverware as captain in his debut season with J Windsor hitting a 19 dart league.
This week the two sides squared up again in the preliminary round of the Samuel Clark memorial cup and it was revenge for the royal winning 6-4.
In the nights other tie the royal of Crosshill demolished Harbour bar 8-2.
Next week the rest of the teams join the draw with Athletic a travelling to Kings, Barr, Victory bar hosting ever improving Boars head and champions Athletic b hosting Hamilton arms.
