Dailly youngster Robby McCrorie enjoyed more fantastic footballing success this week.
That’s because the 16 year old goalkeeper helped Scotland Under 17’s qualify for this summers European Championships in Malta due to be held from May 9 to May 21.
The young Scots enjoyed a 100% record in the elite group games which were played last week and Robbie played in goals for the vital first two matches.
He kept a clean sheet as they started the campaign with a 2-0 win over Bosnia last Monday night (March 24) at the home of Kilmarnock FC, Rugby Park.
Robby was then in goals again as the Under 17s battled back from a goal down to beat their highly rated Belgium counterparts 3-1 to seal qualification with a game to spare on Wednesday 26 March.
Robby was then rested as he saw his teammates secure a perfect three wins out of three with a 1-0 win over Romania on Saturday.
Robby is on the books of Rangers and this adds to the success he and his twin brother Ross enjoyed last year when the Scotland Under 16s team won the prestigious youth football tournament, the Victory Shield by beating England.
