Horse course clinches racegoers’ award

AYR RACECOURSE has been voted Best Racecourse in Scotland and the North East by members of the Racegoers Club for the ninth year in a row.

The award is recognised as one of the most prestigious within the racing industry and by clinching it again for 2012 Ayr has now won it no fewer than 19 times in total.

Lindsey Smith, Sales and Marketing Manager at Ayr Racecourse, said: “We are all delighted to have been chosen for this award again and it is a great honour.

“The people who vote for this are all regular racegoers so it means a lot for the team at Ayr to be recognised in this way.”
