Place to start for would-be referees

editorial image

Whether it is a match on a public park, or the European Championships Final, the one thing that remains absolute is the role of the referee.

Love them or hate them, without referees, football would not exist.

So whether you fancy becoming the next John McKendrick (Ayrshire member who officiates regularly in the SPL), stay refereeing in the local youth leagues, or just want to know why that decision was made against your team - this is the place to start.

The classes are open to both male and female - with the only restriction being that you must be aged 16 and over. Turn up on the night to register.

Classes from Monday 28th January until Monday 8th April 7-9pm for a period of 10 weeks (excluding Monday 1st April due to the Easter holidays). Venue; St Josephs Academy, New Farm Loch, Kilmarnock.
