Following a meeting of the RBS Club of the Month Panel and approved by the Scottish Rugby President, Carrick RFC has been awarded March RBS Club of the Month award.

Last week the club received their award before their club’s weekly training session.

After accepting the award, Willie Wyllie said: “I am delighted that Carrick have won the RBS Club of the Month for March. This is yet another first for the club and it recognises the high level of performance, clean discipline record and development of our Youth set up.

“There is a great spirit within the club and I owe a personal thanks to so many for their tireless efforts in building our brand of Community Rugby.

Special thanks also goes to our 1st XV Coach Gordon Brown for his enthusiasm and passion for Carrick Rugby and for taking the time to nominate the Club.”

Part of the RBS Club of the Month award is a table of 10 at the Club awards dinner, on Friday 31st May 2013, and a chance to win RBS Club of the Season.
