Red card costs Girvan dear

Have your say

Once again, Girvan finished the game with ten men as sendings off continue to cost the Seasiders dear as they lost to Whitletts Victoria 4-1.

This time, Whitletts Victoria were the club to benefit when Kevin Biggart was judged to have been the last defender after bringing down the Whitletts forward in a refereeing decision which boss Tam McCreadie described as “harsh”.

Earlier, Biggart had been the hero in the 25th minute when he equalised a Whitletts opener by meeting an Alan Love corner eight yards out and firing into the net.
