The new Season of the Girvan and District Flower Club is almost upon us and once again we look forward to welcoming members and visitors alike.

The inaugural meeting of the Club was held in The Unitas Hall in Girvan in November 1973 and was set up to form Fun and Friendship through Flowers, since November 1977 the Demonstrations have been held in Girvan Community Centre on the fourth Wednesday of the month where Fun and Friendship still flourishes, so if Fun & Friendship appeals to you, Girvan Community Centre on Wednesday 28th September at 7.15 p.m. is the place to be. The Demonstrator is Ada Paul from Ayr and her Demonstration is entitled “Life’s Tapestry”. Ada previously demonstrated to the Club in 2009 so we very much look forward to her return visit.

Membership for the Season is £22 and visitors £4 per night.

Information on all aspects of the Club can be found on our website www.gadfc.co.uk The website was set up by a good friend of the club Brian Robertson formerly of Girvan, over the summer Brian has revamped it, so well worth a look.
