This weekend (Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December), Ayr Central will be filled with the tastes and smells of Christmas as the shopping centre host cooking demonstrations by The Cook School, Scotland and local food producers from across Ayrshire.
Shoppers will be set to impress their family and friends with tips and ideas for fabulous festive entertaining, showcased for them by the award-winning chefs from the Kilmarnock based cook school. The menu for the days covers all things Christmas from party canapés and warming soups to show stopping main courses and indulgent desserts.
Once visitors have been inspired and had a wee taste, they will be able pick up the best of local produce at the Ayrshire Farmer’s Market and find everything they need to set the perfect Christmas from around the stores at Ayr Central Shopping Centre.
The cooking demonstrations will run on both Saturday and Sunday between 12 noon and 4pm, with the Ayrshire Farmer’s Market stalls trading for the whole days. Visitors can discover more at: ayrcentral.com/whats-on/festive-cooking/.
