Runners from Ayrshire are being asked to get their jog on and sign up for the Great Scottish Run to raise money for vulnerable and neglected children, young people and families.
Competitors will tackle either 10 kilometres or a half marathon around Glasgow on Sunday September 2, and runners will be travelling from across Scotland to take part in the annual event.
Action for Children Scotland fundraiser, Katie Forsyth, said: “This is a great opportunity to keep active and stay healthy; whilst raising funds at the same time. We hope that people from Ayrshire who are taking part in the Great Scottish Run will raise sponsorship for Action for Children Scotland. By running for Action for Children Scotland you can help us to continue our vital work in the area. Let us know when you have registered and we will provide you with a running vest and a fundraising pack – and our team will be there on the day to provide moral support and cheer you on!”
