Southbound are back and are set to rock Brunston Castle on Friday night.
The band had their heyday in the 70s when they supported legendary bands such as Slade, Bay City Rollers, Marmalade and The Move.
Now the original line up featuring three men from Girvan are getting back together for some special gigs.
Keyboardist Monty McGill, drummer Ronnie Mills and singer/guitarist Spike Milligan are joined by Ayr duo Ian Seaton on guitar and singer/bassist Billy Bryan to complete the original line-up.
And for this tour they are joined by vocalist Nicola Gilligan and guitarist/singer Robert Kerr.
Tickets for the Brunston gig are available at Monty’s Hairdressers in Girvan plus newsagents in the town and the golf club itself.
They cost £10 which includes a light supper.
