Jello is a beautiful two-year-old who came into Cats Protection care when she was pregnant.
Her kittens were all rehomed quickly and we are hoping that Jello will now find her forever home. She is a very friendly cat with a loving nature but it would be better if she was the only pet in the household to get the TLC she deserves. She is also good with children. Jello would like a house where after the initial settling in period, she would get access to outside. As with all our cats, she has now been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, had flea/worm prevention and fully health checked and only a £50 adoption fee is asked. If you think you can be Jello’s new family please ring the Cats Protection Office on 08453 714216.
Meanwhile, due to ever increasing waiting lists, the South Ayrshire branch are looking to expand. We are currently recruiting for Fostercarers. If you love cats and have a spare room in your house or a patch of garden large enough for a purpose built pen, then call us for an informal chat. We supply all food, litter, equipment, and vet care, and we ask for your time and TLC for each cat that comes into your care, whether that is a week to six months! You are fully supported with an on-call Fosterer Support Officer. We arrange cover during your holidays and only place cats with you that you are comfortable working with. It is preferable that carers can drive as some vet trips for vaccinations etc will be needed. You would also have input to the type of forever home required for that cat. If you are interested in this volunteer position, call 07846 499644 in the first instance, thereafter you can be put forward to begin the application process.
