Home for Holly for the Holidays!
AT around 18-months-old, Holly was a stray who had just given birth to six kittens, before we managed to bring them all into care.
Despite being undernourished she did a tremendous job as young mum and all her healthy babies are settled in homes, but Holly, now nurtured back to health, is still waiting for her forever home.
She would prefer to be the only animal in the home although could be okay with a small dog. She is fine with kids but can be quite boisterous in her play so older children are more suitable. Holly is very very affectionate and craves human company so a house with people home part of the day would be ideal. She is enjoying the indoors (and the heat!) very much and likes sitting in the window watching the world go by, but maybe in the future when she has some security in where she is sleeping, she may be keen to venture outside again.
Fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, neutered, worm and flea prevention given as with all our cats, and so a £50 adoption fee applies. If you can help Holly ring our office on 08453 714216.
With Christmas fast approaching we would like to remind people that giving a cat or kitten as a christmas present is NEVER a good idea, however tempting. There have been record numbers of kittens born in autumn this year so best thing is to give a neutering voucher as a present to cat owners! Kittens can be neutered as early as 16 weeks which is about now for those born August/September, and you do NOT need to wait for a first season.
Ring our office for a neutering voucher now and give these youngsters the best possible start in life. Kittens and cats not yet neutered should be kept indoors to minimise the high risk of more kittens struggling to find homes. Even wanted kittens of today, often become unwanted cats of the future.
