E.ON is inviting South Ayrshire charities and community groups to apply for up to £2,000 of funding through its Energy Action Fund.
To be eligible for funding, charities and community groups must put forward requests to support activities that help bring about a reduction in their own energy use, help generate energy from a renewable source, or provide energy efficiency advice for local people.
Applicants are being encouraged to get their funding requests in now, ahead of the application deadline of Friday, 8th April 2016. The maximum amount awarded to any one group is £2,000, which may cover the full or part cost of energy-related improvements and activities.
Since its launch in 2013, E.ON’s Energy Action Fund has distributed over £75,000 to more than 40 community groups nationwide to support qualifying energy-related projects.
