Many raffles wre drawn with everyone expecting to win, many did, some didn’t.
Colmonell graceful years club is holding a whist drive in Colmonell Community Centre on Friday 11th April. All welcome.
South Parish Church guild are holding their annual spring tea on Wednesday 9th April from 2pm-4pm. Teas cost £2.50. Please come along and support us.
Girvan Scout Group will be holding its usual fund-raising Prize Bingo night on Friday 4th April, at 7.30pm, in the Scout Hall at 9 Glendoune Street (near Monty’s).
Teas, coffees and our Tuck Shop service will be available as well as a raffle.
Why not join us for the evening? It will be worth it just to hear the banter!
A film night will be held in Colmonell Kirk Hall on Friday 4th April.
At 6pm the children’s film is an animation about an epic adventure to free a kingdom trapped in eternal winter.
At 8pm the film will be the story behind Walt Disney making a film of the Mary Poppins books.
Entry is by donation and drinks and sweets are for sale.
On Good Friday (18 April), South Carrick Churches Together will be holding their usual open air service at 12 noon at Stumpy, to which all are invited. There will also be a united evening service at 7pm in the Sacred Hearts Church.
Representatives from churches in Girvan and the surrounding villages will be taking part in these services. Everyone is welcome.
