Girvan rotarians enjoy whisky experience

The Girvan Rotary Club recently paid a vist to the A.D. Rattray whisky experience in Kirkoswald where members learned about the illustrations of how whisky is made and how over time each cask matures and develops its own personality.

Members got the opportunity to explore ‘The Cask Room’ where they saw a traditional ‘underbond’ whisky warehouse, viewing the Sample Room whilst also trying a whisky.

The whisky shop offers a diverse range of whiskies for all tastes and budgets from known brands to individual cask bottlings.

Members thoroughly enjoyed their visit before heading back to Girvan to enjoy their usual excellent Tuesday evening meal provided by Paul Brown and Nancy Rae at the Royal Hotel in Montgomerie Street.
