The first National World’s Biggest Coffee Morning was in 1991, when 2,600 people registered to hold coffee mornings across the country. Since then it has raised over £75 million in total for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Coffee Morning times on Thursday 26th September are: 10-10.45am; 10.45-11.30am and 11.30am to 12.15pm.

The cost of a coffee morning ticket is £10 per person. Each guest will be served a cup of coffee along with a cake, biscuit and shortbread. £7.50 from every coffee morning ticket sold will be given to the Macmillan Cancer Support - Ayrshire Appeal.

Guests who would like to explore the gardens will be asked to make an additional donation to Macmillan Cancer Support. Each guest will be asked to buy raffle tickets for the prize draw to win a voucher for ‘Afternoon Tea for Two’ at the castle which is located near Ballantrae on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park, has 17 bedrooms and is run by husband and wife team Graham and Fay Cowan.
