An exhibition which is celebrating 85 years of ice hockey in Ayr is set to open at the Carnegie Library in the town from Monday 6th October.
Ice hockey and sport fans will get the chance to a close up and personal look at some of the memorabilia that has been gathered over 85 years of ice hockey in the town from 1929 until the present day.
The exhibition is initially set to run until Saturday 25th October.
Organisers are still appealing to anyone who has any memorabilia to hand it into the library whether it be programmes, pictures, jerseys, medals etc.
They are particularly interested in anything from the Beresford Terrace and Limeklin Road eras.
If you take it into the library and sign it over it will be recorded and you will be given a receipt.
The library have given an assurance that you can retrieve the memorabilia at any time during opening hours as it remains your property.
