Mobile website will aid property sales, says local firm

Buyers looking to purchase their perfect property in Ayrshire will now find it easier than ever following the launch of a new mobile website, say Scottish property consultants CKD Galbraith.

The website has been launched to cater for the growing demand of clients looking to access property services on the move.

More than 30 percent of CKD Galbraith’s website traffic now comes from mobile devices, a figure that has grown by nearly 10 percent since the start of last year and is forecast to keep rising to a level where half of all visitors are accessing the site beyond their desktop PC.

“The functionality of the new site is designed to make it quick and easy to find a property, service, office or person,” a spokesman explained.

“The result is a site that perfectly matches the demands of mobile audiences with a design simplified to provide an optimum experience on smartphones and tablets. However, the mobile site is fully integrated into the main site meaning that the exact same information on properties is available across both platforms.”

Bob Cherry, partner at CKD Galbraith’s Ayr office, said: “With the growing increase in traffic coming to our website from mobile devices, it was only natural that a mobile version of the website became critical to the continued success of CKD Galbraith’s digital strategy.

“In recent years we have seen a shift in how clients wish to access property information, with the growth of up to the minute electronic alerts for new properties coupled with a desire for search capabilities and enhanced property details to be available whilst on the move.

“As has been seen with our successful trial of QR codes, CKD Galbraith is keen to adopt new digital technology when it becomes available to ensure we offer all our clients the maximum impact and benefits from available mobile technology enhancements in the months and years to come.”
