Corri Wilson MP has called on charities, social enterprises, community groups and schools in Ayr, Carrick and Cumnock to apply for funding being offered through round 2 of the RBS Skills and Opportunities Fund.
£2.5 million has been made available to help people get work or set up a business. Grants of up to £35,000 are being offered and applicants have until 9th September to apply.
The focus for this funding is to support organisations that help people in disadvantaged communities develop, create or access the skills and opportunities they need to help themselves; skills that will enable them to get into work or start a business, now or in the future.
Local MP Ms Wilson is encouraging interested organisations across the constituency to apply by visiting: http://skillsandopportunitiesfund.rbs.com
