Orchestra play for EU

Europe here we come!

And so say 75 members of the Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra as they board two Dodds coaches on Sunday 30th June to head for a fantastic Concert Tour of Europe.

The first stop is in Strasbourg where they have been invited to perform for the EU Parliament.

Then on to Lichenfels in Bavaria – Prestwick’s Twin Town, Switzerland where they will visit CERN and give a performance of a specially composed tune to commemorate the discovery of the famous Higgs Boson Particle, Paris with a day in Ayr’s Twin Town St Germain-en-Laye, Disneyland and finishing in Brussels.

Before they depart you have an opportunity to hear them in full flight in Ayr Town Hall on Saturday 22nd June at 7.30pm as they take to the stage for their annual Summer Concert.
