Well over 1000 people turned out for the very first William Grant and Sons open day in July 1992.
And the distillery bosses were so impressed withthe response that they plan to hold a similiar event next year.
There were two bouncy castles, pony and trap rides, fire engine rides, a mini octopus with free lemonade and candy floss to top things off. The open day was organised for the distillery workers and their families after numerous requests from people who wanted to learn more about the whisky making process.
