Royal Aeronautical Society marks 55 years of flying fun

The next lecture in the Prestwick Branch of the Royal Aeronautical Society winter lecture programme is on Monday 14 October.

The lecture is titled 55 Years of Flying Fun and is given by Clive Rustin a retired test.

Clive reflects on many of his experiences flying over 160 aircraft types, including his post RAF involvement in airships and participation on the display circuit in a variety of old warbirds such as the, Venom, Vampire, Hunter & Spitfire.

The lecture commences at 7:30pm and is held in the Aviator Suite, 1st Floor of the Prestwick Airport terminal building. Visitors and Guests are welcome, and an opportunity to meet other attendees over some tea or coffee will be available in the Aviator Suite (situated on the upper floor of the terminal building) during the evening.

Entry is free to students who are currently in full time education but otherwise there is an entry fee of £3 for visitors.

The airport parking fee for visitors is £2.50.
