THE SEARCH is on to find Scotland’s most accessible Christmas attractions.
Disability charity Capability Scotland has launched project SANTA (Search for Accessible Noel Themed Attractions) and is asking families across the country to share their experiences of festive days out.
Whether it’s a family trip to see Santa, a festive trip to the panto or even just a spot of Christmas shopping, Capability Scotland wants to hear about it. Which outings are Christmas crackers and which activities need consigned to the naughty list?
The findings from the research will be compiled into a report which will be published later this month, and everyone who takes part will have the chance of winning shopping vouchers.
Capability Scotland Senior Policy and Consultancy Manager, Elspeth Molony, said: “We are really excited to be starting this research which we hope will give us a picture of how accessible Christmas really is for disabled Scots. “
